On April 28th, some of the Nudefruit/Just Chillin’ team took a road trip to visit one of our fruit suppliers, the freezing facility and the packaging plant. What a fun packed day we had!
Our first stop was at Kent Kreek Berries where we met AJ, the son of Jeff & Paula Zelem. AJ took us around the farm and gave us some great information regarding the products they grow.
Kent Kreek Berries used to be an old tobacco farm and they are 2nd generation berry farmers. Situated in Norfolk County they have 10 acres of blueberries, 6 acres of strawberries and two of raspberries and many other produce.

Did you know that one blueberry bush will produce 10lbs of blueberries in one season (June to Labour day)!!!
